is anyone really good at writing short stories? I NEED HELP!!!?
I need to write a short story for english its supposed to be a Fictional/ narrative...I started it off but I need help with the rest PLEASE
one day a girl named Lesley was getting ready for her big softball game, that atarts at 6 o clock.
"mom its 5:30 we have to go" said Lesley.
"okay", asid the mother, on the way driving to the game a deer jumped out in to the road. They swirved too miss it but ended up hitting a pole. "so how am I going to get to thegame?" Lesley murmered to herself.
Now I really need help with the rest PLEASE!!!
What you already have needs urgent editing. Try this: Lesley was preparing for the BIG softball game. It was already 5:30, with the game starting at 6 before her mother finally got in the car, and started driving them, But--disaster! A deer jumped onto the road ahead of them, and in swerving, mother drove the car into a pole.
Lesley didn't even concern herself with the damage, or whether she or her mother were hurt. All she could think was, "how am I going to get to the game?"
From here I suppose you want to decide how to get to the game. You can go for humor (a farmer with a load of chickens picks her up in his rattletrap truck), drama (the police who come to the accident take her with sirens roaring and lights flashing), tragedy (she doesn't make it and the team loses), worse tragedy (she doesn't make it and the team wins anyway); her divorced father comes by and after hassling his ex-wife, takes Lesley, and they are reconciled; or any of a dozen other scenarios.
