How do I repair a broken clock spring?
The clock is a 'Unique" brand 31 day clock. The inner part of the spring has sprung and needs to be reattached. It is a very strong spring so I need detailed instructions how to.
Replace this spring by another new one to keep accuracy of clock

World’S Oldest Working Clock
The oldest working clock and most probably, in the world is in England. Historians believe that the clock was made around 1386. Documents of cathedral show that there was an appeal to generate funds for the maintenance of a ‘clocke’. The clock was made completely of wrought iron and was initially run by a verge escapement and foliot balance mechanism. It was found that the clock was not accurate and the pendulum mechanism was implemented. This clock had no hands but it chimed every hour. The clock was oblivious for some time until 1929 when it was rediscovered and investigated. And in 1956 it was repaired and restored. The pendulum was replaced and it now runs on the original foliot balance mechanism.
Biggest Clock Faces
The title of the biggest clock fact in the world is in dispute mainly due to lack impartial and accurate measurements. The main contenders for the biggest clock face in the world are:
1. The clock at Cevahir Mall in Istanbul. It claims to have a diameter of about 36 meters.
2. The Colgate Clock at Jersey City, Manhattan and claims to have a diameter of 50 feet.
3. The Flower Clock at Tehran claims to have a diameter of 49.21 feet.
The Oldest Pocket Watch
The world’s oldest pocket watch was small and spherical in shape. It was also called Bisamapfel watch and was made in 1505. It is a rare piece and it is believed that only 5 of them were preserved until World War II, when the watches were lost. It is believed that the watch was made by Peter Henlein and that there is just one watch that survived the World War II. But nobody was yet sure of this was in fact the oldest pocket watch ever. After through investigation by many watch experts and historians, it was concluded that Peter Henlein was the inventor of this watch and that the watch was indeed made in 1505.
