repair old drift wood frame( around clock )?
My wife and I recieved this from her brother who made it out of a piece of drift wood and gave it to us as a wedding gift 31 years ago. It fell from its mount on the wall and cracked a section of it.looks like he may have used a clear resin or cant think of the name epoxy maybe ? is this fixable .
I would use a clear epoxy--you can get it at Home Depot. It comes in a syringe. The epoxy is half resin, half hardener. It dries clear and is extremely strong. Be mindful that you do NOT have to have a gloppy mess of this stuff to be strong: A thin layer is enough. When gluing up, it is very important that the joint go back together flawlessly, and that equal pressure be applied across the joint.
