Classic conventional wars are a thing of the past ?
Now when all the most important players in the globe have from nuclear to ballistic missiles, and the countries are conquoered in the matter of weeks/days( but not subdued, it was never the case ) can we claim that the concept of the conventional war has died out?
The last two conventional wars that the United States was in were Desert Storm and the Iraq War (until the collapse of the regime when it switch to guirrilla warfare).
So no Conventional warfare has not died out.

Xbox 360 Gears Of War 2 Review
In the futuristic first person Xbox 360 game, Gears of War 2, Guy Cocker will take on a horde of Locusts. The best things about the new game are that the game has been designed with a brand new look, taking the entire gaming experience to a different level.
There are newer and better weapons to deal with along with grenades of more power. Powerful melee attacks are in the works, and the visual effects are like none you've seen before.
U can relish with your friends, the Gears Of War 2, which has now been released with an attractive multiplayer modes. the support drop from the co-ops and independent difficulty.
However, among the old things that this game has retained are the exciting Gears actions that are a trademark of the Gears of War series and especially loved by all alike.
The original Gears of War is an actual action genre of classic games which is filled with excellent graphics. It’s cinematic presentation along with a challenging cover system create a breathtaking effect.
This section of the premiere series debuts several different new arms as well as brand new villains to confront.
When you encounter the new enemies who are stronger than before, you understand the significance of the more powerful weapons. Unlike its past versions, innovative environments have been used.
The fight experience remains the same. Seen from the viewpoint of the former game, the game play is a bit more exciting and mind-bending.
Gears of War 2 feature a battle mode that is about ten hours in length and very engaging. This game can be addictive; once you start a game you won't be able to put it down until the outcome is realized.

10 players is an improvement compared to the 8 players that the earlier version used. Hence this series will help you play with your friends and act as a team to ground the Horde.
The fact that this game has been around for so long can be attributed to the ease of finding multiplayer friends, leading it to be a high selling console video game with more than a million copies sold.
The Gears Of War 2 game, more than being innovative, has refined its action and this is the reason of its success. It is among the top games offered for Xbox 360 systems right now and makes a worthwhile addition to every game aficionado’s set.
